Men in Black III Review

The secret organization who monitor, license, and police all alien activity on the planet
Earth are finally back for round 3, and what a round it is. After the last movie, I wanted
Agent J to flashy thing me. So like most fans of the series, I was very skeptical when
they announced a 3rd one. However this time they got it right.

In MIB 3, an old, imprisoned enemy of Agent K, Boris, has gone back in time to take
revenge by killing him. This event alters the timeline, which allows Boris’s currently
extinct race, caused in part by K, to still be alive and in turn invades Earth. Even though
the timeline is altered, J still remembers K (that is explained). When finding out K was
killed 43 years ago, J is pointed to someone that can send him back to 1969 to try and
stop Boris. He is warned not to come in contact with the younger K, but as it is with J,
nothing ever goes as planned. Together they try to stop Boris and save the future.

Where both Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are just as good as they were in the first
movie, who really stands out is Josh Brolin, by not standing out at all. He does such a
fantastic job as the young K you forget he’s not Mr. Jones. With a very good story and
strong performances, Men In Black 3 is every bit as good as the first one, not to mention
the sequel we had hoped for last time.
